INGREDIENTS

  • 1 lb. ground pork
  • 10-12 oz. coleslaw or broccoli slaw mix
  • 1/4 cup green onion, sliced
  • 1 small sweet onion, diced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup coconut aminos (I like Coconut Secret brand.)
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons coconut oil
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon ground ginger
  • sesame seeds, for garnish
  • salt and pepper, to taste

 

 

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Thoroughly cook ground pork in a large skillet; season with ground ginger, salt, and pepper. Remove pork from skillet; set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, heat coconut oil and sesame oil over medium heat. Add green onion, sweet onion, garlic, and slaw mix; saute for 10-15 minutes or until vegetable are tender.
  3. Add pork back to skillet.
  4. Whisk coconut aminos and rice vinegar together. Pour over pork and vegetable mixture; stir until well combined. Continue to cook on low for 10-15 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
  5. Sprinkle with sesame seeds prior to serving.
