I consider this a “base recipe” as it can be used multiple ways: a filling for lettuce cups, in a quesadilla, on a bun, as a nacho topping, on a salad, or just straight-up on its own! You could even put it in a baking dish, top with cheese, and bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes and serve it with celery sticks or tortilla chips for an appetizer. Yep, it’s pretty much universal.
