You guys, I have been all of those things!
I started my career as a radiology technologist—specializing in mammography. I loved connecting with and caring for patients but as time went on I found myself constantly daydreaming about starting a health coaching career.
I followed my heart and enrolled in the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. After receiving my certification as a health coach, I started and ran my own successful practice helping women create positive food and lifestyle changes in their lives.
After my second son was born, I chose to take some time-off from my practice and stay home with my boys. As thankful as I am for that time, I really missed adult connection, helping women and connecting to a larger purpose and mission.
The Beautycounter business opportunity found (and saved) me.
The Beautycounter business opportunity was like a perfectly placed gift from God delivered in the form of my friend asking me if I’d be interested in learning more.
As we talked through the opportunity, I knew it was the right next step for me. I identified with their mission of getting safer skin care into the hands of everyone and knew I would find joy in helping women adopt safer skin care habits. I also knew that being part of a community of like-minded women who are working to create positive change in the world would also fulfill my desire to be reconnected to a larger purpose.
From the moment I said yes to becoming a Beautycounter consultant, I haven’t looked back. It has been the best decision I have made for myself.
It has allowed me the flexibility and time freedom I’ve always wanted in a career. I experience true joy on a daily basis as I educate and connect with my clients. I have also developed true, deep friendships with women I wouldn’t have otherwise met.
