Does the simple task of picking out a snack bar confuse you?
You’re not alone.
With all the options on the shelves, it can be hard to figure out which one to choose as a healthy option!
While I try to remain flexible based on where I am shopping and what is available to me, this is generally what I look for:
✔️Real food ingredients.
✔️Natural sweeteners.
✔️Higher fat and protein content. (You want to actually stay full, right? This will help.)
✔️Grain-free.
A brand that is easily accessible and affordable is a plus!
The Autumn’s Gold bars below make the cut on all of the above criteria! Our local Costco started carrying them a few months ago and it’s safe to say they are a hit in our house!

I like them for a light breakfast before a workout or tagged onto lunch for something sweet.
