I just LOVE shopping for stocking stuffers! I will take any excuse I can get to purchase my favorite items in small, stuffable sizes. I think everyone has their own “rules” for what constitutes a stocking stuffer vs. a stand-alone gift–my stocking stuffers must be mini, small, single, compact, and feel like a treat. Mishawaka Whole Foods Market made it easy for me to stuff stockings this year–I got all of these goods in one full swoop for roughly $25. Seriously, you can’t beat that! Not only can you bring stocking stuffer joy to your loved ones for less than a meal out but you can provide them with clean, safe, and healthy goodies at the same time! I call that a holiday W-I-N!
Lets get down to business, shall we. 🙂 Here is a list of everything you see above. If you like the “idea” of one of the items but don’t live near a Whole Foods, look for a similar item elsewhere. Simple enough, right?
Kalamazoo Candle Company Soy Candle in Obsidian: You can’t beat a good candle, can you? This is one of my favorite brands. Their candles are made from soy wax, paper wicks, and do not contain dyes. They burn clean, evenly, and last for a long time. This is going in Cody’s stocking and Obsidian reminded me of a scent he would enjoy.
Whole Foods 365 Peppermints: Because who doesn’t need a mint every now and again? Mints are one of those things that are just nice to have on hand in your car, purse, briefcase, or diaper bag for when your Starbucks leaves your breathe feeling a little stale. These have a great minty taste and do not contain any artificial sweeteners like many mainstream mints on the market do.
Simple Squares Cinna-Clove Snack Bar: Simple Squares is one of my favorite go-to snack bar brands. Their products are made from real food ingredients and taste delicious. I like all of the flavors but Cinna-Clove reminds me most of the holidays.
Whole Foods Fizzing Bath Bomb: A bath in and of itself is indulgent but throwing in a bath bomb is the icing on the Christmas cookie! Lavender is my preferred scent because it is calming and relaxing. You could also look for a mint or citrus scent if you prefer more of an energizing and awakening scent.
Dr. Bronner’s Organic Lip Balm: This is my all-time favorite chapstick. It is silky, smooth, and moisturizing. I have been using it for over a year now and no other brand holds a candle to it. This is a must-have stocking stuffer. I picked up the Naked flavor for Cody but my favorite is Peppermint.
Burt’s Bees 100% Natural Moisturizing Lipstick: The perfect lipstick is oh so hard to find! I love to try new brands and colors, but the Burt’s Bees 100% Natural Moisturizing Lipstick is a standby for me. It truly does feel moisturizing and doesn’t dry out my lips like a lot of other brands. My favorite color of the season is Brimming Berry–it is the perfect pop of color for the holidays!
Whole Foods 365 Mojito Mint Hand Sanitizer: We use sanitizer in our house like it’s going out of style. This sanitizer smells delish and is more moisturizer than most.
Simply Gum: Gum is always one of my go-to stocking stuffers. I love Simply Gum because it doesn’t contain any artificial sweeteners, food dyes, or other funky ingredients.
Justin’s Maple Almond Butter: Justin’s is one of my favorite go-to nut butter brands. Their Maple Almond Butter is to die for. The individual packets are perfect for on the go snacking, travel, or stuffing into a stocking (duh!). Be careful, this is highly addictive!
Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides: These are great little stocking stuffers for the health nut in your life. Collagen powder is hot right now for all of its benefits including gut, joint, bone, skin, hair, and nail health. I add collagen powder to my coffee every morning but it can also be added to smoothies, soups, and stews–basically, anything liquid!
Now that I have shared my favorite stocking stuffers with you, what are some of your favorites? Leave a comment below! I have a little more room in our stockings and would love some ideas from you on what else I can stuff in!
